Congratulations to Liz Proudfoot, her daughter Amy and Andy White on the birth of (Cheyenne Elizabeth) born on Friday, Feb. 22 weighing 10# 9 oz., 21” long. Liz is the Minister of Visitation at St. Stephen UCC in Sandusky and the Chaplain at The Community of Parkvue in Sandusky. She also is serving on the NWOA Nominating Committee and the Witness and Proclamation Team. Welcome Cheyenne Elizabeth!
Please pray for David Deever, he has been ill and is in need of prayers. David is the chair of the NWOA Misconduct Response Team.
Youth needed for Ohio Conference Annual Gathering
The Ohio Conference would like each Association to include 5 youth delegation (high school age) to the Annual Gathering of the Ohio Conference. This Gathering will be at Heidelberg College in Tiffin on Sunday, June 8 and Monday June 9. Funds will be available from the Association for each youth delegate. If you are interested or know someone that is interested please send a name, address, email address and phone number to joan@nwoa.org.

Mission Questionnaire 2008
Our churches in the Northwest Ohio Association support mission in many ways. The Witness and Proclamation Ministry Team is seeking to gather information that will be used to celebrate what we are doing and provide a way to connect churches who many seek information or support. Complete the Mission Questionnaire attached to this email and your missions will be printed in the Annual Meeting Book. Deadline March 1, 2008

Greetings to you. This is a chance to visit the United Church of Christ national offices in Cleveland, Ohio. We encourage you to put the dates March 27th through March 30th, 2008 on your calendar, and to begin planning on attending the UCCOSSN meeting at the Church House in Cleveland.
Our keynote speaker will be the Rev. Kathryn Huey, Minister for Covenantal Stewardship. The theme of the meeting will be “Tending God’s Garden – God Works Wherever We Work.”
We will inform you as soon as the on-line registration becomes available. The registration fee (which covers all program materials and 6 meals) will be $100. Perhaps funding sources can be found through women’s groups, individuals within the congregation, etc.

Support Group for Depression and Anxiety
Support Group Gathering on March 12 at 10:30 am at Bloomville UCC, 31 North Marion St., Bloomville, OH.
If you are interesting in attending this support group for those clergy who have or have ever had depression and anxiety please contact Rev. David Culp at his home, 419-447-9548. This group will be led by Rev. Jan Kucera, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a fee will be involved.
National Youth Event Registration Process
The NYE Planning Team has been working diligently and is excited to invite you to NYE- four days of inspiring worship, diverse workshops, exciting speakers and fun for high school youth (age-18) from July 24-28, 2008 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Plans are being made to bus students attending NYE to Knoxville from the Northwest Ohio Association area. We hope to see your youth group at this amazing event!
