A huge THANK YOU to all who donated books and teacher resources for our recent work trip to New Orleans.  We personally took over 11,000 pounds!!--two trailers filled, two pick up trucks filled, and the bottom of our very large RV filled.  In addition, other members of our work team brought boxes from their churches and friends.  What a wonderful blessing for the schools and children of New Orleans.  They were received with gratitude, amazement and joy.  We were able to take a large number of boxes directly to a school, and the rest will be distributed through the book ministry of Good Shepherd UCC in Metairie, LA., where we stayed.  Thank you for helping us to show God's love in a tangible way to our brothers and sisters in New Orleans.  Rev. Jeanette and Terry Tangeman
