Community UCC-Fort Seneca celebrates with Christmas In July
On July 16th Community UCC
had a "Christmas in July" service at
Nu-Vizion UCC,
Hello Everyone,
Many of you know that Nu-Vizion has been running a Kids Group all
summer to help provide a positive way for kids in our neighborhood to spend
their time. The gang presence near the church has been heightened for
several months, although I know God heard our prayers about that because one
gang house has been vacated. Anyway, we run program on a skeleton crew
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from
We planned program from
Our staff (paid and volunteer) have been providing meals for up to 20 ravenous kids each day. After a month of programming, we need some help. Would you be willing to donate some food for their meals? It could be as simple as bread, peanut butter and jelly for sandwiches or as complicated as a home cooked meal. Our kids get very excited about fresh fruit and vegetables. You could drop something off or come down and meet the kids. We, and they, would be grateful for anything you could offer.
If you are interested,
leave a message at the church
So many of you have done so much for Nu-Vizion financially, by donating goods and clothing, or by giving your time. We are grateful for your abundant support. God Bless You.
Sincerely, Shelley Stuart
