Lakeside Association in partnership with representatives from the Jewish and Islamic Communities and the United Methodist church are presenting a program entitled "Children of Abraham - A Journey Together" August 14-18, 2006 See http://nwoa.org/chautauqua2006.pdf for details in the nwoa.org menu. In a time of religious animosity and international turmoil, frequently motivated by deeply held religious conviction, this is one more step in working at understanding the radical in religion. Consider going yourself, and/or taking a friend with you.

The Church of the week is http://www.nwoa.org/ToledoMemorial.htm. See what an inner city church is doing in its witness of faith.  Each church may have a web site inside NWOA. There is nothing holding back the smaller church in its evangelical witness to tell people what it is doing and where it is going. Contact webinfo@nwoa.org for more information. Or see the vision statement for the web to find out more, http://nwoa.org/missionstatement.htm
