We would like, in keeping with biblical witness and the traditions of many Christian churches, to install these individuals through the laying on of hands. Those attending the Annual Gathering had an opportunity to give feed back on the model using a response form that had 7 “levels” of response from strongly agree to strongly disagree. A quick and informal tally of the responses indicated a considerable majority of the responses were in the three agree levels. The process now goes to the Association Council this weekend for discussion and back to the Leaders Forum for additional work. The model for the redefinition of the Ohio Conference is also posted on the Ohio Conference Website www.ocucc.org click on “Reports for Discussion for Annual Gathering.” If you were unable to participate in last weekend’s discussion I encourage you to provide feedback on the website. There are significant implications for all of the Associations and the Ohio Conference.
