The Ohio Conference, UCC in cooperation with the UCC Pension Board is sponsoring a Pre-Retirement Seminar on Monday, April 18 at the Dublin Community United Church of Christ. The seminar is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is only $10:00 which includes lunch. Please register through the Ohio Conference. If you desire more information, please call Pam Brown.Tuesday, April 19 all UCC Pension Board annuitants are invited to a luncheon with Bill and Sylvia Dalke of the Pension Board staff. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will also be at Dublin Community UCC. The UCC Board of Ministerial Assistance is facilitating this gathering so the cost is only $5.00 a person.
Saturday, April 9: Youth Ministry Leadership Enrichment Day: A day of presentations, resources, dialogue and enrichment! Featuring the Rev. June Boutwell, Minister for Youth and Young Adults and Outdoor Ministries, UCC National Staff. , 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location – Richfield UCC, 4340 W. Streetsboro Road, Richfield. You are invited to two celebrations on April 24. At 10:30 am, the Rev. Judith Huber will be installed as pastor at St. John’s UCC, Bluffton. Although Judy has served the church for 4 years, she recently was granted full standing as a minister in the United Church of Christ. At 3 pm, the Rev. Marty Stiffler will be installed as pastor of Emanuel UCC, Upper Sandusky.

God Is Still Speaking Digital pictures. We are seeking digital pictures of how congregations have included the God is Still Speaking theme in their local churches: outside banners; posters, particular literature for evangelism, billboards, etc. Pictures will be used during Annual Meeting. Send to office@nwoa.org.Delegates and visitors are encouraged to wear red!

Prayer Requests
Rev. Ed and Shirley Briggemann (Emanuel’s UCC, New Bavaria) became grandparents
for the eighth time with birth of Abigail Rose Metzger on Palm Sunday,
March 20th.. Abigail lives in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. The Briggemann’s now have 5 granddaughters and 3 grandsons, and are expecting two more grandchildren
to arrive in the summer months. Congratulations!Please keep in your prayers, Elizabeth Welch, the mother of Patti Welch (Steuben Congregational UCC). Mrs. Welch is under hospice care for congestive heart failure. She is 91-years-old and lives with Patti and her husband, Garland Gates. Mrs. Welch and her late husband were missionaries to Angola in the 1940’s and 1950’s, where Patti and her sister were born.
