Association Youth Delegates for Ohio Conference Gathering. The Association may have up to 5 youth delegates to the Ohio Conference Gathering which is Saturday, June 18 at First Community Church, North Campus in Columbus. There will be a special program to orient youth delegates, while participating in the meeting. The Association will pay the registration fee. Youth will be responsible for their own transportation. This is a wonderful opportunity for youth to gain insight about the wider church. Interested persons should contact Char Burch at the Association Office.

Prayer Requests
Our prayers are with the Rev. Dave Hunt as he retires from his ministry at First UCC, New Knoxville. His last Sunday is April 3. He and his wife, Jean, are loading their belongings into a motor home and heading Florida to work with the Mennonite Disaster Service responding to survivors of hurricanes. There is an open reception for Dave and Jean at 3 pm at the church. Everyone is invited.
The Rev. Charles Preston concluded his ministry at Trinity UCC, Upper Sandusky on Easter. Our prayers are with Charles as he seeks to continue ministry in other settings.
Pat Minnick's dad, Richard Benson, suffered a stroke on Saturday, March 19th.
Dr. Richard E. Benson, died yesterday morning, March 28th. The funeral service will be Friday, April 1st at 10:00 am at Wurtz Funeral Home in Boston, New York. Memorial contributions can be made to Faith UCC, 8651 Boston State Rd., Boston, NY 14025. The Rev. Roger Perl had a stint inserted last week. He is home and doing very well!
Deadlines and Meeting Dates
April 4 – Deadline for Small Church Event being held April 9 at the Church House, Cleveland. Small Church leader and visionary, Rev. Scott Planting will lead the day of discussion on small church issues. Cost: $10 per person. Registration information has been sent directly to churches and is in the March Monthly Mailing. Registration is to be sent to the Northwest Ohio Association office.
