It is time to think about the summer camping season. The 2005 Ohio Conference Church Camp catalogue should have arrived in your church. But there is a problem. The Division of Outdoor Ministries of the Ohio Conference has discovered that a surprising number of summer church campers have not received their 2005 church camp catalog. The catalogues were mailed to recent campers by bulk mail on January 6. Please make sure that your congregation has plenty of catalogues on hand for those campers who have been to camp and may not have received a catalogue directly and also for your new campers, as well. Bulletin inserts, posters and campership offering envelopes are also available. If you need more catalogues please contact the Conference office at 614-885- 0722 or 800-282-0740. Also check out the Ohio Conference website at www.ocucc.org for more church camp information.
Cleaning Volunteers Needed at NuVizion
Dear Friends,
Ok, here we go again asking for help. In order to stay on top of the cleaning needs at NuVizion we are beginning a volunteer cleaning program. We need individuals to volunteer for basic cleaning such as vacuuming, dusting, trash removal and general washing and wiping. For a more complete list (email joan@nwoa.org) for all the details.
We're asking for you to volunteer by the week. Sign up sheets are available in the worship center or email the office with the week that you are available. We'll arrange timing as it best fits our mutual schedules. Thank you in advance for responding to our latest plea....your gifts make our ministry possible.
All Peace, Love & Blessings; your brother & servant in Christ-Jesus,
Will Stuart (pastor)

PRAISE CONCERT AT PILGRIM CHURCH FOR TSUNAMI RELIEF
On Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 6:00 p.m., Pilgrim Church (located at 1375 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo) will host a Praise Concert featuring Pastor Mary Wood. Pastor Mary has acted and sung in several local theatrical productions and is gifted on guitar, the hammer dulcimer and piano as well. She will share these talents and will also give us a witness of her recent five month stay doing missionary work in a refugee camp in Thailand. This was her second missionary trip to Thailand. She has also done missionary work in Glasgow, Scotland, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and inner city Philadelphia. Pastor Mary is an Ordained Minister with standing in the American Baptist Church, USA, and has preached and led retreats nationally. She was the Composer of Music for The National American Baptist Youth Conferences, “Raise the Roof” and “Crossroad”. She was also the winner of the 1994 music contest sponsored by IGLESIA BAUTISTA EL BUEN PASTOR. She earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Eastern College in St. David’s, Pennsylvania (one in Sociology and one in Youth Ministries). While there, her mentor and advisor was Dr. Tony Campolo. Pastor Mary received her Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and completed CPE training at Central State Hospital’s Psychiatric Unit in Lagrange, Kentucky.
