God is Still Speaking in the Northwest Ohio Association. Last Saturday was our All Team Event, with fifty Association leaders involved in various Association Teams and Committees gathering for the day. We shared goals for the coming year and how they reflect the Association’s Role and Mission. We highlighted things that are going well in the new structure and areas where there are some struggles. Folks have been working hard to think and work in different ways as we move into the future. Thanks to all who are involved in the leadership of the Association!

The United Church of Christ TV spots will run on network and cable TV December 1 to December 26. Many churches are showing the TV ad to their congregations prior to December. Those of you who attended the God is Still Speaking Training, have the ad on the video or DVD you received. It can also be viewed on the website www.stillspeaking.com.

Have you considered organizing a work party to southern Ohio to assist with flood recovery? The need is great! For those of you interested in organizing such trips contact: George Siddall (513-228-0515 or gtsidall@juno.com).

This Friday, November 12^th, there will be an additional God is Still Speaking Training offered at St. John’s UCC, Genoa; 9:30 am – noon. Please contact the Association office to indicate if folks from your congregation planning to attend so that we have adequate materials.

We are moving towards an exciting time in our ministry as we plan our preview worship series in Advent and kick off regular Worship times. While this is an exciting time it also means that there is much work to do. Can you help??

We’ll provide Lunch and Drinks and lots of work.
You provide the people power and basic cleaning supplies.
Tasks will include cleaning, organizing spaces, yard work if weather permits,
Please bring snack food to share.
Youth under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
